CMA appoints VP SalesLondon, 10th May 2007: CMA, the credit information specialist, today announced the appointment of Peter Vitale as VP Sales for its credit market pricing data (CMA DataVision) and market leading intra-day services (CMA QuoteVision). Vitale, based in New York, will be responsible for sales and account management globally. Vitale joins CMA from GFI, where he was Head of Sales at GFI's Data & Analytics North America Division. Vitale has more than 20 years experience in the OTC credit and financial services markets. He has played an integral part in successfully developing business for financial institutions including Bank Julius Baer, International Financial Services (IFS), Salomon Brothers, NatWest Bank, and SBC Warburg's collateralized trading, where he was a core member of the team that developed its cross product collateralization system (XCOLL). Vitale is the latest addition to CMA's team as the company continues to develop and provide innovative solutions in response to the requirements of this dynamic market.
